What is the difference between managed and unmanaged colocation?
Unmanaged means you handle all physical work yourself or pay for remote hands per request at hourly rates. Managed adds a monthly remote hands allocation (15–45 min depending on plan), free cabling, equipment installation at onboarding, and faster Next Business Day response.
What tasks are included in the remote hands allocation?
Included tasks: hardware reboots, cable management, visual inspections with photo reports, drive replacements (hot-swap/cold-swap), shipment receiving and racking, OS reinstalls, KVM console access, and basic troubleshooting.
Can I add managed colocation to my existing plan?
Yes, you can add the managed add-on at any time. The add-on cost is applied from the next billing cycle. No contract extension required.
What if I need more remote hands than included?
Additional remote hands beyond your monthly allocation are billed at standard hourly rates: €100/hr during business hours, €130/hr evenings, or €180/hr nights/weekends/holidays.
How do I request remote hands?
Submit a remote hands request through the customer portal or by email. Managed customers receive Next Business Day response. Priority Support customers get 1-hour response via a direct messenger group.
